Godfrey Moye doesn't just speak — he enters the room differently. As an actor trained by the Upright Citizens Brigade, a licensed minister, and a mentoring program founder, he brings a rare combination: someone who understands story, knows Scripture, and has actually walked alongside the people he speaks to.

Based in New York City, Godfrey serves as Youth Minister at Lower Manhattan Community Church, where he leads the LMY youth group and runs the Life on Purpose Program — a mentoring initiative for teens built around self-discovery, cooperative learning, and intentional living.

His approach isn't motivational fluff. It's grounded in precision, preparation, and presence — the same qualities that make an actor compelling, a preacher powerful, and a mentor trustworthy.

Through cooperative learning structures, guided self-reflection, and real conversation — not worksheets — participants leave with a clearer sense of identity and a concrete direction to move toward.

The Ikigai Framework — Built into the curriculum is the Japanese concept of Ikigai: the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Teens don't just learn about purpose. They locate it.
